London, 31st March 2017 – Following three senior appointments to the Fidelio Senior Consultant team at the beginning of the year, Fidelio Partners, the Board Development and Executive Search consultancy, is pleased to welcome Stephen Cheetham as a Senior Consultant. Stephen brings remarkably multifaceted experience which further enhances Fidelio’s Search, Development and Evaluation offering.
With deep sector expertise in automotive and engineering, Stephen has experience in leadership roles across multinational corporations, investment organisations and most recently as the CEO of an SME, PK Engineering. Stephen enhances Fidelio’s ability to support and advise clients on building Boards and leadership teams that are fit for the future. This includes developing capital market readiness and ensuring that the Board and top team is well positioned to engage effectively with shareholders and stakeholders.
Stephen’s extensive experience includes:
- Senior Finance roles within Ford Motor Company
- An impressive twenty-year career in financial services, including:
– Automotive sell-side analyst
– Buy-side portfolio manager, European corporate governance lead
- CEO of a cutting edge, dynamic engineering SME, PK Engineering
Stephen also brings significant international experience and, as with other members of the senior Fidelio team, speaks fluent German. This is highly relevant for Fidelio’s international offering – with 50% of its Executive Search and Board Development mandates delivered internationally. Biography – Stephen Cheetham, Senior Consultant, Fidelio Partners
Stephen Cheetham is managing director and principal shareholder of PK Engineering Ltd, a Hereford firm specialising in precision machining for the aerospace, medical and scientific industries. PK Engineering employs 40 people in advanced manufacturing, and is passionate about creating opportunities for young engineers through its apprentice programme.
Before this venture, Stephen was a senior portfolio manager at AllianceBernstein, and a research analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein covering the European automotive industry. He held a number of financial management positions in the Ford Motor Company, and has significant experience in operational management consulting.
He holds an MA in German and French from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the London Business School. Stephen is also an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme, and an active angel investor in Midlands-based technology companies.
