Disruption, Innovation & "A Seat at the Table"

A critical challenge for public company Chairs is navigating disruption – particularly digital disruption. Recent Fidelio research with FTSE100 and CAC40 Chairs underscored the importance of Board composition and the need for digital awareness.

Fidelio addresses this priority in the acclaimed “A Seat at the Table” Programme for senior female executives and directors.

To date “A Seat at the Table” contributors who combine digital and Board experience include:

  • Sarah Bates – Chair of St James’s Place plc and Polar Capital Technology Trust, who combines the experience of Chairing a disruptor with investing in technology
  • Amee Chande –  Non-Executive Director, BBA Aviation plc, with extensive international digital and retail exposure in senior Executive roles at Alibaba, Tesco and Staples
  • Susan Hooper – Non-Executive Director, Wizz Air; Uber UK; Rank Group plc; DExEU (Department for Exiting  the European Union), brings a strong track record in customer centricity
  • Anne deKerckhove – CEO Freespee and Non-Executive Director, 888 Holdings plc, draws upon experience as a tech entrepreneur, angel investor and Board Director in fast-growing technology companies

Once again in September 2018 “A Seat at the Table”  will focus on the Board contribution to innovation, as well as its critical role in navigating disruption. This is one way in which Fidelio supports Chairs in building Boards fit for the future through Search, Development and Evaluation.
