Fidelio Board Breakfast – The Future of the High Street, 5 April 2016

As a Board Development and Search firm, Fidelio understands the diversity of skills and experience required at the corporate top table to successfully navigate change and complexity. The High Street is perhaps the epitome of this and thus provides a useful foil for discussion of Boardroom composition and the challenges faced by Boards.

We were therefore delighted to welcome Peter Williams, Non-Executive Chairman of Boohoo.com, Senior Independent Director of ASOS plc, and former CEO of Selfridges to share his views at a Fidelio Board Breakfast on ‘the Future of the High Street‘ on 5th April 2016.

Given Peter’s impressive track record in the retail sector, as well as his experience in real estate and on the Design Council, he was ideally positioned to review present and future disruption. Importantly he also shared his insights into the skills Boards need to navigate these challenges. The breakfast was attended by Chairmen, Non-Executive and Executive Directors with experience of the high street, real estate and technology.

It was held at Villandry St James’s from 8.30 to 10.00 am on the 5th April 2016.
