Fidelio Board Breakfast: “Boards, Governance, Shareholders and Asset Management” with Edward Bonham Carter
Fidelio will hold a Board Breakfast exploring “Boards, Governance, Shareholders and Asset Management” with Edward Bonham Carter on Thursday 19th September 2019.
Profound changes are underway in the asset management industry which have significant implications for quoted company Boards. To this end Fidelio will host a Board Breakfast “Boards, Governance, Shareholders and Asset Management” on Thursday 19th September. To help us navigate this highly relevant challenge for public company Chairs and Directors, we will be joined by Edward Bonham Carter, Vice Chairman of Jupiter Fund Management Plc. In addition to an illustrious career in asset management, Edward has FTSE 100 Board experience including as Senior Independent Director of Land Securities Group plc and ITV plc.
Fidelio clearly sees the impact of the changing shareholder base in both our Search and Evaluation assignments with public companies, and we have asked Edward to address the following critical themes:
- What Boards need to know about structural trends in the asset management industry.
- How the information flow between companies and investors is changing as a result of regulation.
- And against this backdrop what investors expect from the Boards and in particular the Chairs of companies they invest in. What happens when those expectations are not met?
This Board Breakfast is by personal invitation only. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
