A Seat at the Table – Development Programme for Senior Female Executives, 15 – 16 March 2016

Fidelio was proud to deliver our second “A Seat at the Table” Development Programme. This took place on 15th – 16th March 2016 at the historic Leeds Castle, Kent. Guest speakers included Samantha Price, Headmistress Benenden School, Professor Bob Garratt of Cass Business School and General Sir Richard Shirreff, former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander of NATO.

Fidelio’s purpose as a Search firm is to build leadership teams that drive value and to address the key diversity challenge. Our goal is to enable senior female executives to succeed to the top table and at the top table. Beyond that we have a clear goal to develop tomorrow’s female CEOs and Chairmen.
Fidelio’s Search and Development expertise combined with extensive research has highlighted five attributes of leadership which are critical to assuming “A Seat at the Table” and which underpin this Programme.

“A Seat at the Table” explores these five interlinked attributes of leadership which are critical to becoming an effective member of the most senior leadership team. Effectiveness at the Board/ Executive Committee table is the focal point of the two day programme and the talented women selected to participate will acquire practical tools in order to succeed:

  • a framework for understanding leadership structures and styles;
  • a mirror for personal presence including within a group dynamic; and
  • a road map of critical networks and milestones in order to achieve their professional and personal objectives.

The programme is specifically designed for Female Executives who are in senior roles within leading organisations.

In addition to the rich experience of the Fidelio team and external speakers, participants benefited from the opportunity to develop a network with this group of senior female executives from a range of sectors and geographies, all of whom are in leadership roles within their respective organisations.
